Banks to aim for same-day credit of payments from abroad

Banks must tell customers as soon as a payment from abroad arrives and reconcile their foreign accounts at least hourly. They should try to credit funds received during forex market hours on the same business day, and funds received later on the next business day. It applies six months after the 9 Apr 2026 circular.
